the hotel's central location was convenient for exploring on foot, which was ideal for immersing in the surrounding landscapes. While the room was a good size and included essential amenities like tea and coffee facilities, the lack of free toiletries was noticeable. the absence of luxury touches was evident, though the clean and fresh sheets did offer a comfortable stay. the availability of free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus, especially for remote workers like myself who need to stay connected. Metropole provides a basic yet functional stay, perfect for those looking for a budget-friendly option in a prime location. the lack of frills is balanced by the affordability, making it a suitable choice for a short visit.
